Research Associate/Scientist
Description:
We are currently seeking individuals to join our Research and Development Group. The primary responsibility for the positions is to develop and implement novel assays and new technologies for drug discovery.
Qualifications:
The position requires a minimum of a B.S./M.S. with at least 3 years of experience with assay design and/or technology development in an academic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology setting. Industry experience is a plus. The positions require experience with assay design, biochemistry or equivalent, familiarity with enzyme kinetics, ELISA. The successful candidate will have a strong quantitative background with experience in statistics and working with instrumentation is required. The successful candidate must be an independent self-starter and enjoy problem solving and developing new technologies. Excellent communication skills and the desire to work within a multidisciplinary team are also required.

Research Associate 3/4
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Research Associate with versatile technical expertise to assist our biological assay development and screening efforts and to contribute to our cancer and fibrosis biology research. The candidate will be expected to have experience with a wide range of cell biology, biochemical, and molecular biology methods.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a BS (or equivalent) degree in Cell/Molecular Biology or Biochemistry with 3+ years of research experience (industry experience preferred). Significant experience with cloning, cell culture (including transfections), RT-PCR / PCR, and other basic molecular biology techniques such as DNA and RNA isolation is required. Experience with assay development and screening will be highly valued. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, self-motivated, energetic, and be able to work independently. We are looking for someone who will be a good fit for our highly collaborative dynamic environment and who is motivated to learn new techniques, has strong written, verbal, data recording, and organizational skills.

Description:
We are currently seeking an individual to join our Intellectual Property group. The primary responsibility for the position is to capture in writing the advances in technology and drug discovery made by the Arresto scientists and to be the liaison with the company’s external patent counsel.
Qualifications:
The position requires preferably a PhD with extensive experience with writing patents in the field of cell and molecular biology, animal models and protein chemistry. Industry experience is a plus. The successful candidate must be an independent, energetic and creative self-starter with a keen interest in science and must have excellent writing skills. Excellent communication skills and the desire to work within a multidisciplinary team are also required.
