Senior Research
Associate / Scientist I
Description:
We seek an outstanding scientist to join the
Target Biology group at Arresto. The successful candidate will
conceptualize and implement both in vitro and in vivo studies to
determine appropriate antibody targeting strategies of extracellular
matrix enzymes and other novel targets. These studies will support
Arresto's drug development in diverse therapeutic areas such as
fibrosis, inflammation, and oncology.
The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in the
development of cell-based mechanistic assays utilizing both primary and
immortalized cell lines, including co-culture assays, as well as
expertise in biochemistry and molecular biology techniques.
Demonstrated experience with the design and analysis of pre-clinical
efficacy studies, including with directing research with CROs, is
desired. Experience with immunohistochemical staining and
analysis is highly valued.
The candidate will conduct experiments in a team-oriented environment
and be expected to analyze, interpret, draw conclusions and conceive of
new lines of experimentation as well as to write draft reports, prepare
presentation slides, and properly document experiments.
Qualifications:
Bachelors
or Masters degree in molecular and cellular biology, immunology, or related field plus 5 years of industry
experience, or
a PhD with at least 2 years of industry experience. Proven
hands-on
laboratory skills involving cell assay development, cell culture
techniques,
and data analysis/interpretation are a must. The candidate should
be
highly collaborative, self-motivated, and have excellent written and
verbal
communication skills.

QC/QA - Technical
Operations
Title: Scientist I - III
Description:
Arresto is looking for an expert in
developing analytical methods and in analytical testing.
Among others, the candidate will oversee analytical testing of reagents
and drug product and drug substance in the context of regulatory
filings. The candidate will be involved in the interaction with
the quality groups of contract manufacturing and research
organizations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has at least five years
of experience with a QA/QC environment and is very familiar with GLP
and GMP principles. This individual should be an independent worker
with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
